I tried coloring a drawing in Photoshop.

Wife / Mujer

Jónína went berserk when she saw her (recently bought) designer dress copied poorly and sold cheap in a lousy boutique. Now every dummy is wearing one, and she's stuck with a very expensive closet-filler.



...But she calmed down and soon turned back into her usual self...

Beautiful Petra lives in (and rules over) Shoreditch in London. I miss her so much! Boohoo!

I was just cleaning out some old boxes and found this watercolour sketch. I had totally forgotten about doing this one.

Eldhús / Kitchen

After a lifetime of being a moron in the kitchen (boiling an egg was a stretch) I finally faced my demons and started to experiment with cooking. And I love it! The other day I made Satay chicken with noodles and sweet potatoes. I was so proud I had to immortalize this momentous occation!

Blóðsuga / Bloodsucker

Vampire attacks happen every day. Please wash your neck daily and refrain from wearing turtlenecks to make the experience as enjoyable as possible for your local Nosferata.

Flugvél / Airplane

Some travel sketches from two radically different trips. The first is from the rainy, muddy, miserable Roskilde music festival in Denmark in 2004.



And the second one is from a trip to London a year later, when they had a blistering heatwave. This lad was at the table next to us. Smoking, cursing and moaning the whole time (the rest of the trip was awesome though).

Skrif / Write

Some fooling around with typography. The first one is handmade, the second is traced in Illustrator and the third was manipulated in Photoshop.

Tíska / Fashion

I needed some extra credits in my last year of graphic design so I took a course in fashion illustration. I'm not very fashionable myself (my idea of a chic dress is a mail sack with a rubber band around the middle) but I liked the experience anyway.

Reiður / Angry

This guy is called Gerard. He lives in New York in 1983. He hangs out in the Park all day and gets furious when the guys won't let him play basketball.

Vofan / The Ghost

Here's an oldie from way back when, in '02. A sexy spectre on a monday morning. There hasn't been this much snow in Reykjavik in 14 years. I did manage to get some fun stuff down in my moleskine this weekend and I'll be scanning it tomorrow.

Tölvuleikur / Videogame

Jónína has an old Nintendo console and she's the master of Super Mario. She was playing like a pro the other day while I doodled.

Lovísa is a musician and a cutie-pie. On new year's eve she got her face squished by my girlfriend's leathery hand.

A collage of found images. This guy has flute music in his brain.

Those two were done when I used to hang out at the bar too much...
